The Lectern is a sculptural object from the collection The New Order. Designed as a speaking platform, the piece functions as a place from which someone addresses an audience. Its vertical, tower-like form recalls a watchtower, emphasizing height, visibility, and authority.

Through the use of rigid materials such as aluminum mesh, yellow acrylic, black MDF, and HDF, the lectern radiates power and control. The combination of industrial surfaces and sharp contrasts gives the object an imposing presence. Within The New Order, the Lectern reflects on the performative nature of power, questioning who speaks, who listens, and how authority is shaped through form, elevation, and material choice.
